Bushtrackers always recommends visiting Elephant Sands when following the Ivory Route.  Elephant sands is in Nata, Botswana.

Elephant Sands is ideally located in the centre of Botswana’s highlights: the Makgadikgadi pans, the Okavango delta and Chobe National Park.

The absence of fences allows all animals to roam freely on this 16 000 hectare conservancy.  And it not only elephant to be seen! Look out for kudu, giraffe, wild dog, steenbok, buffalo, impala, leopard, ostrich, warthog, lion, jackal, mongoose, porcupine, zebra and an abudance of bird life.

You have have the choice of camping on your Bushtracker Camper, or using the facilities at Elephant Sands.
We recommend the delicious à la carte menu too.
